The Suicide Chords News for May 2011
The Suicide Chords-
1. A new record is in the works, and is slated to be captured between May 12-18th at Mid-City Sound and Swagger Studios, both located in Los Angeles, CA.
The talents of Jeff Hannan (Engineer) and Dan Whittemore (Producer) will be assisting The Suicide Chords with this endeavor, and shall make this record very, very nice.
Clay Hackett is the first to go in for the process, using the first day to get drum tuning and tones under control, as well as microphone location. Interesting fact: Clay will be using the snare drum used by Nirvana for the “Nevermind” album.
Dylan Wills (Bass) and Jai Luna (Guitars) will be tracking during and shortly after Clay, with Jay Edwards finishing the tracking with vocals.
After tracking is finished, the band will be going through the (ever-tedious) task of mixing and mastering for quality…
2. The Suicide Chords Official Website is currently being built, and will include photos/videos, an online store, calendar of events and contact information (and more)! Artwork will be done by Eric Martin, and the site will be done by Tim Fears.
3. Look for The Suicide Chords to be interviewed by Art Fusco for his blogs and web-show!
4. Music video will be made for one of the songs from the upcoming EP. This will be done by the talented Eric Casas.
